 Jane Kelley, RN, BSN CETN- Wound/Ostomy Care

Meet Jane Kelley, Certified Wound/Ostomy Specialist.  Jane graduated from Niagara University School of Nursing, BSN 1976.  She completed enterostomal therapy course via Albany Medical Center external program with 120 hours clinical experience at Lahey Clinic in 1995.  Jane became certified as Wound/Ostomy, Continence Nurse November 1995.  Jane has been with Rochester District VNA since June of 2000.

 

JoAnn Pearson, RN, BSN, Psychiatric Nurse Coordinator

JoAnn our Psychiatric Nursing Specialist graduated from the University of Michigan School of Nursing in 1972 with a BSN.  She joined the homecare team in 1991 and developed the Psychiatric Nurse Home Care Program.  She completed her certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing in 1997 and has been the Psychiatric Nurse Coordinator at Rochester District VNA.

Diana Bittner, RN, Perinatal Program Coordinator/ International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Diana has 30 years experience, much of that time in the hospital setting as a nursery/labor and delivery nurse. Diana’s certification benefits the community by setting high standards for providing quality care and skilled technical management in the lactation profession.  The IBCLC designation identifies her as a specialist trained to focus on the needs and concerns of the breast-feeding mother to prevent, recognize and solve breast-feeding problems. Diana has been with Rochester District VNA since 1996.

  

Monique (Nicki) Smith, RN, Clinical Technology Coordinator

Nicki graduated from the nursing program at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord.  She is a member of the Infusion Nurses Society and attended the INS annual meeting and conference. Nicki also manages the IV team.  This team is highly trained in IV therapy. The IV team was recently certified in Chemo and Bio Therapy for infusion in the home. Nicki has worked for Rochester District VNA since 2000.

Adult Health Screening Clinics:

Sandra Powers, RN Community Clinic Nurse

A graduate from Westbrook College  she has 17 years experience in home care.

Presently Sandy manages all of the Community Wellness Clinics and is the Adult Day Center Nurse.  She has worked RDVNA since 1991.
