The generosity of a few - helping many

Thanks to the generosity of a number of individuals, families, and area businesses, The Rochester District Visiting Nurse Association is able to provide care and services to the underinsured/uninsured of Rockingham and Strafford Counties.  Nursing and therapy care are provided at no cost or at a significant discount to the patient, based on the patient's financial need.

The need and challenges are great, but donations enable the Agency to purchase Telehealth monitors, walkers, tub seats, Hoyer lifts, and the like - allowing patients to remain safely in their homes longer.  Donations also fund adult health clinics. Additionally, homemaking services are provided to those that would otherwise be unable to afford help in the home.

Rochester District VNA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

One of the primary benefits of being considered tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) - donations are tax-deductible to the donor.

Memorial Donations

Memorial donations can be made in memory or honor of a loved one, friend or co-worker by making a gift to the Rochester District VNA in their name. Your gift will be acknowledged to the family to whom the gift is made. Gifts made in memory/honor may be designated to go toward a specific program.

Bequests

Remembering Rochester District VNA in your will is one of the easiest ways to make a lasting remembrance of your charitable concern. Bequests may be in the form of a stated dollar amount, property, a percentage or the residual of an estate.

Gifts of Appreciated Stock

A growing number of donors are making gifts of appreciated securities and other investments. This type of gift has a major impact on Rochester District VNA and our community. The donor can benefit from reduced income taxes and avoid capital gain taxes.

Life Income Gifts

Gifts can be made through planned giving options such as Charitable Remainder Trust, Charitable Gift Annuities and Pooled Income Funds.
